Today, my husband and I were thoroughly impressed by the impeccable service, the outstanding food, and the inviting ambiance. Nestled in the perfect corner on Sunset, we enjoyed great cocktails and exceptional East Coast oysters. We indulged in a bit of everything— from the fish sandwich with caviar tartar sauce to the clam chowder, the grande tower, and even the lobster roll. Generous portions, exquisite flavors— it was a fantastic experience all around. We had an unforgettable time and will definitely be returning. This spot has earned its place in our favorite restaurant rotation. ITS AN EAST COAST THANG

Effortlessly cool and absolutely delicious. Saltie Girl nails it on every front — the menu is inventive, the flavors are bold but balanced, and the energy in the room is spot on. From the crudos to the lobster rolls, every dish lands. Add to that a sharp, friendly service and you’ve got one of LA’s most satisfying seafood spots.

Sunset Boulevard located Seafood Resto with a beautiful layout and well decked menu of regional and local catch. Visited there last June 2024 and the expected price tag was well worth it. Including a surprising find in the guise kf a Japanese craft beer that we first tasted in Tokyo. Plates are wonderfully presented and served. The shelled butter was a nice touch. The service was engaging, prompt and very helpful. The place is brightly adorned with tasteful decor and the interiors well managed to give you a measure of privacy so much so that you'd escape urbane LA for a while. Suitable for seafood lovers of all types and ages.

Fresh amazing oysters, great selection of East & West coast! Lobster roll is a must try and the burger is flavorful and juicy! Obviously everything pairs well with a nice glass of red or white wine, or a gin martini with a twist

This was hard to rate for me but definitely between a 4-5 star! Delicious oysters and stone crab from Florida (cracked almost to perfection so not extremely hard to eat). They had a butternut squash lobster bisque that was heavenly with a buttery piece of lobster (the highlight for me). The branzino was delicious (but be careful there are small bones in there). The presentation of the drinks were good but the mixture of some of them is unbalanced at all (I had the pistachio and couldn’t even finish it… it was so sour and gross) Apart from the cocktails being not too special and the price being a little exaggerated everything else was good. The service is excellent, street parking was easy to find. Ambiance is a tad bit noisy for me(on a Main Street). All in all - would come back for stone crabs and their lobster dishes ! Oysters were great but definitely other places where they’re just as good for a fraction of the price.

Amazing! This is not a typical seafood restaurant. I dined on Sun 8/4 Sat at the bar and the bartenders/servers were very helpful and knowledgeable but more importantly friendly. The martini with caviar incredible creative. I like how you can build your own raw bar. The Dover sole had a wonderful sauce and prepared perfectly. The atmosphere art deco style very nice!

Salty Girl in Los Angeles delivers an unforgettable dining experience. The food is absolutely phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Generous portions mean incredible value, perfect for sharing. The chic, stylish vibe adds to the allure, and the attentive, top-notch service makes every visit feel special. A must-try culinary gem!

Great Food, Disappointing Service — A Missed Opportunity Saltie Girl has a well-earned reputation for exceptional food, and in that regard, it delivered. Every dish that came out of the kitchen was flavorful and beautifully presented — the oysters, in particular, were a standout. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the service. After ordering a bottle of wine, it took over 20 minutes for our server to return, only to inform us that the manager would be retrieving the wine. Another 10 minutes passed before she reappeared — not with the wine we ordered, but with a different, more expensive bottle. Rather than apologizing for the mix-up or offering it at the original price as a courtesy, the switch was presented matter-of-factly. A gesture of goodwill here would have gone a long way. To make matters worse, our oyster order was mishandled — not once, but twice — with incorrect counts and missing varieties. For a restaurant that charges premium prices, these details matter. Guests expect not only excellent food, but also attentive, polished service to match. In the end, the meal was delicious, but the experience left a bitter aftertaste. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and invests in training their staff. As much as I enjoyed the food, I won’t be returning until the service rises to the level of the kitchen. Dining here should feel seamless — not like a constant series of corrections.
